Building Higher Education for St Johns School, Marlborough
The £18.6m construction project for St. John's School & Community College in Marlborough is nearing completion for the upcoming school term. The project has required 77.1 tonne of steel supplied by Albion Sections, totalling 17,500 metres of cee section.
The works, which are in association with ISG Pearce, include the construction of five blocks interlinked with walkways, a new entrance road and coach park, the re-profiling of the existing playing fields to a Sport England standard and the supply of temporary classrooms for the duration of the project. The new secondary school and sixth form department is due to be completed in October 2009.
