What's new from Albion Sections?
As part of our continuing Development Program, we are pleased to inform you of new and enhanced products now available.
Firstly, after extensive full scale testing at Birmingham University, under the supervision of Dr Jian Yang, we have improved the load carrying capacities of our purlins and rail sections.
The depth range has been maintained but, for sections 200mm -265mm deep, the flange widths have been reduced.
This, with the introduction of lipped sleeves, provides a more efficient and cost effective system.
For the most popular sections, up to 245mm deep, the user is also able to choose either M12(8.8) or M16(4.6) site assembly bolts.

Purlin, rail and eaves beam load span tables are available for download here.
We also now have available the new Polycoat range of purlins, rails and eaves beam.
The Polycoat is a painted polyester finish in white (RAL 9002). Designed to primarily provide a more open internal ambience, the Polycoat finish also has greater corrosion resistance when compared to standard z275 galvanising.
Delivery is the same as for our general galvanised products, 5-7 working days, so there is no waiting for powder coating or painting specialists.
Of course accessories such as sleeves, sag rods, struts etc., are available to match.
