The recession is perhaps not quite over, but as West Bromwich based custom cold roll-forming manufacturer Albion Sections recent survey suggests, there is a general belief across the construction sector that the worst is finally over.

When Brighton & Hove Albion (the Seagulls) kick off the 2011/12 football season in their new 22,500 seater stadium it will bring to an end one of the longest running sagas in English football.
Since vacating the Goldstone Ground in 1997 the club has battled hard to have a new home of its own, with planning permission for its preferred site in Falmer going through two public enquires before being finally approved in 2008.

Albion Sections supply Smart Systems for Shufflebottom

More than 14,000m of cold rolled purlin and rail steelwork has been erected in an extension to Smart Systems offices, warehouse and manufacturing plant located in Yatton, North Somerset.
Custom cold roll forming manufacturer, Albion Sections, provided Z-section and accessories to specialist steel and cladding contractor Shufflebottom.
The modern, purpose built 48,000ft² expansion will enable Smart Systems to increase production; manufacturing extruded sections from raw material.

Albion building higher education
New Steel Construction (NSC) Magazine - Vol 17 No 8, Sept 2009
The £18.6M redevelopment project at St John's School & Community College in Marlborough, Wlitshire is nearing completion and the premises are scheduled to open this October.
Working on behalf of main contractor ISG Pearce, Albion Sections has supplied more than 77t of C-section steel, totalling 17,500m in length, to the project.
